Personhood in the political arena: A challenge to women's rights

AZBlueMeanie in Blog for Arizona has an excellent report on the issue of personhood in upcoming elections.  Elevating a fertilized egg to personhood trumps the mothers rights.  That raises really disurbing questions.  If the mother does have an abortion, what are the penalties?  (In gory detail, please.)  Because men are not subject to any of this, how do we - our Democracy - deal with the legal inequality?  In what other areas, then, do women enjoy lesser rights than men?  And on and on.  Before any candidate, D or R, gets your vote, you need to get their answers.  Read this one!

Not incidentally - we live in a country in which, soon, guns will have more rights than women.
