Dallas health worker tests positive for Ebola

Vox.com reports (as do many other sources).

A health care worker who cared for a Liberian patient who died from Ebola in Dallas has tested positive for the virus.
If the preliminary Ebola test is confirmed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, this would mark the first case of Ebola transmission in the United States.
"We knew a second case could be a reality, and we've been preparing for this possibility," said Dr David Lakey, commissioner of the Texas Department of State Health Services.

So this news is not surprising but let's hope  that containment procedures are in place and working.

Check out the links to background on the virus.
