By the numbers: Congress doesn't care what you think ... unless you have a billion dollars to give them

You might think that legislation is well calibrated with popular opinion. In other words, if most of us supported something, Congress would get that thing done. And if most of us really thought some piece of legislation was a piece of crap, Congress would NOT pass that law.

Aw, you wouldn't really think that, would you?

Here is a great video from represent.us showing the complete lack of correlation between what we, the public, want and what Congress delivers. But there is an exception: Congressional action is correlated with what big business and billionaires want. Check out the video and be angry. Then start working on getting even.
