Arizona Public Service has a majority on the Corporation Commission

KVOA.com reports. Bob "Texter" Stump and the APS duo, Tom Forese and Doug Little, are all saying they have no conflict of interest and thus will not recuse themselves from voting on APS matters. That gives APS a 3/5 majority on the Commission.

Goes to show ya: honest politicians are those who stay bought.

Laurie Roberts' column on this is a must read, if for nothing else than for this amazing conclusion.

Stump, by the way, insists he also has no conflict. SunRun, a rooftop solar company, has asked that he recuse himself, given his Facebook posts expressing hostility toward solar.

Stump, in his response, says he’s totally open minded and besides that, he was engaged in “satirical writing” and besides that, anything he writes on Facebook is private.

“The entry into the public docket of personal Facebook photos – my page is a private, not official, page – was a gratuitous invasion of my privacy,” Stump wrote.

Stuff you post on Facebook? Private?

Folks, you just can’t make this stuff up.
