Quote of the day: Does it take Bob Stump 46 messages to arrange a symphony date?

The quote: "If it takes you 46 e-mails to arrange a trip to a concert, you have no business making decisions that affect the citizens of this state."

Here's a short update on STUMPgate in the form of a letter to azcentral.com.

I find it outrageous the extent to which [AZ Corporation Commissioner] Bob Stump will go to hide his e-mail exchanges with Scot Mussi, head of the Arizona Free Enterprise Club. [Scriber: the communications were text messages.]

Stump insists the 46 e-mails were to arrange a trip to the Phoenix Symphony. If it takes you 46 e-mails to arrange a trip to a concert, you have no business making decisions that affect the citizens of this state.

And if the e-mails really are that innocent, release them and be done with the drama.
