Following is the text of an announcement sent from the Quail Creek POA to its residents. Note especially that the meeting this evening, now headlined by Steve Bannon, is NOT open to the general public.
Republican Club Meeting - Friday, February 8, 6:30 PM, Madera Clubhouse Crystal Ballroom
The Republican Club Meeting on Friday, February 8 at 6:30 PM is NOT sponsored by the Quail Creek POA. The Quail Creek Republican Club invited the group to speak as part of its monthly meeting. Their meetings are for Club members and are open to homeowners of the Quail Creek POA. The meeting is not open to the general public. The invited group posted the meeting on its Facebook page and invited the public without the Club’s or POA’s knowledge. In addition, the newspaper incorrectly reported that the event was open to the public. We are currently working to get the correct information out to the media and general public. Due to the media outlets suggesting this was open to the public, we will require residents to show their Homeowners Card for entry to this event, so please remember to bring your Homeowners Card for entry. Please note that the meeting venue has been changed to the Madera Clubhouse Crystal Ballroom.
Use of meeting rooms does not imply endorsement, support, or co-sponsorship by the Quail Creek POA, for the activities that take place in the meeting rooms nor the beliefs or views of the group sponsoring the event. The views and opinions expressed by guest speakers do not necessarily reflect the views or position of the Quail Creek POA, employees of the QCPOA, or Robson, Inc.
